Logo Bar FAQs

What is the Logo Bar?

Logo Bar logos are semi-customized, ready-to-roll branding suites. All we need to do is pop in your brand name and tagline, and you’re off! Each Logo Bar brand suite is only sold one time, so you’ll have a completely unique-to-you brand identity in the fraction of the time (and at a fraction of the cost) of a fully-custom brand package.

How does it work?

First: Browse the Logo Bar! If you see something you love and would like to make your own, send me an inquiry here. We’ll chat and I’ll make sure that your brand name is a good fit for the logo style- if it’s all a go, I will send you a booking packet that includes a contract and invoice.

Then, the magic happens! I get to work customizing the brand just for you, and then send it all over for approval. Once you’re happy, I put together your Brand Style Guide, export all the files, and get them into your hot little hands, ready to launch!

How does the Logo Bar compare to a fully custom branding package?

In terms of deliverables, you will get the same assets as you would with a fully-custom package (most Logo Bar packages are akin to my “Essentials” package, with the option to upgrade to the “Primo” package - a few are already upgraded.) The difference is that we’re skipping weeks of ideating, iterating, and emailing back and forth, and going right to a finished project. Because this saves me tons of time, I’m able to offer these packages at a lower price point - and because just about everything is already done, you know exactly what you’re getting and I can get it to you fast!

Can more than one business buy the same Logo Bar brand suite?

Nope! I wanted to keep these packages comparable to my fully-custom packages, which means each suite is only sold once. You might be more familiar with things like customizable logo templates that are sold over and over - they’re cheap and all, but how many other brand are out there walking around with the exact same branding as you? Nope, that simply won’t do - your business is unique and deserves an identity all its own.

Can I see how my brand name would look in the logo before I commit?

We can totally take it for a test drive! There is a nonrefundable deposit of $70 to mock up the finished logo - if you end up purchasing the suite, that deposit will go towards the final invoice.

How long does the Logo Bar customization take?

Usually under a week, provided that I am able to get the information I need from you in a speedy manner. If you’re in a real rush, it may be possible to expedite your brand - let me know and we’ll see what we can do!

Can we change some things? (fonts, colors, etc)

We can absolutely tweak things like taglines, color palettes, and body fonts. The font used in the logo can only be changed if you have a specific font in mind and can provide the font license.

Are the fonts included?

You will need to obtain a commercial license for the fonts used in your suite, but usually that cost is less than $30 total (sometimes quite a bit less). For body text, I usually default to fonts that are easily available on Google Fonts. I will provide you with links to all the fonts used.

What is included with a Logo Bar suite?

All Logo Bar packages include:

  • Primary logo

  • 1-3 secondary logos

  • 2+ brand marks

  • Color palette including Pantone matches

  • Typography system

  • Detailed style guide

Some larger packages may also include things like:

  • Brand flash (complimentary doodles and graphics)

  • Instagram highly covers

  • Instagram story backgrounds

  • Business card design

  • Postcard or Thank You card design

  • Social media banners and avatars

  • Brand patterns

  • Packaging designs

  • Merch designs

Please refer to the individual page for each package to see exactly what is included and the price for that package.

Can I add on additional assets?

Absolutely! Everything in that “larger package” list above can be added as an a la carte item.

I kind of like the brand name in the mock-ups, can I just use that one?

As far as I’m concerned, totally! But it’s up to you to check that the name isn’t trademarked, in use by a competitor, or any of the other due diligence you should probably do before launching any business ;-)
